The Opportunity Scholarship at MDS

The Opportunity School Act of 2013 created scholarships that allow students in grades K – 12 from low-income and working families to attend private schools that could help meet their educational needs. If your household meets certain income guidelines, you may be eligible to receive Opportunity Scholarships up to $6168 per student per year.

For the 2023-24 school year, the application period is January 31st through March 1st, 2023. The application will remain open as funds remain available until August 31, 2023.
